Objectives

We want to achieve a more sustainable, more supportive and more inclusive society by improving coordination and exchanging ideas and projects with other similar entities in Europe, in a way that would allow us to adapt more global training and greater stability of our staff, collaborators and network so that in turn increase the quality and offer of projects and activities to youth workers and the youth of Zaragoza and Europe. This is framed within the 4 objectives that we propose in the accreditation: 1.- Personal growth and entrepreneurship. 2.- Deepen environmental education and self-sufficiency. 3.- Advance gender equality and inclusion. 4.- Promote the social participation of young people and associations. Although the 4 objectives are present in all projects and mobilities, in each case some are more important than others. Mandrágora Team we have worked mainly on environmental issues, objective 3 of gender equality and inclusion was a topic pending further study to respond to the social changes that are taking place and for workers and collaborators to know how to develop internal protocols against discrimination and harassment especially gender and knew how to identify and assess situations that in many cases are assumed to be normal, that is why we dedicated a mobility to the RIACT Society topic, we hired external professionals and collaborations with partners. The results were very interesting and have allowed us to advance a lot, creating our own protocols against discrimination and harassment. In a mobility prior to accreditation, we created a network of European associations and people “EUPLANET” to promote sustainability in Europe, reflecting the need to strengthen this network and also collecting their proposals, we carried out a youth mobility “At the Beginning Was the Food ”, which works the food cycle, from the ground to the waste, passing through the table. It helped us strengthen ties with other entities and strengthen the network, as well as empower 2 network collaborators who had been participants in the network's creation project to be part of the organization and coordination of their first project, which was very satisfying and dynamic. In planning the accreditation objectives for the next three years, the fight against climate change and how to adapt cities to alleviate its effects was a priority for us and we carried out a mobility for workers with young people “Green & Sustainable Cities” where Aspects such as biodiversity islands, urban and vertical gardens, citizen participation, environmental education, assertive and non-violent communication, etc. were worked on. We have developed this accreditation entirely by carrying out a youth mobility and two mobilities of youth workers, with good results and fulfilling the planned objectives 100x100. Since it is also the first year accredited, we believe that we have taken a great step. This has also been demonstrated in the evaluations of the participants.
