Objectives

The activity plan consisted of three activities and was perfectly in line with the objectives of the accreditation. The first activity was a Partnership Building Activity that took place in Villalibado (Burgos) from 23 to 29 March 2023. The PBA "Tejeredes- Weaving Nets", mobility for youth workers, had the main objective of creating long-term partnerships between organisations mainly from rural areas and working with people with fewer opportunities and with common needs, goals and values, improving the quality of future joint projects. The second activity was the youth exchange "Waste to Wonder" which took place in Belorado (Burgos) from 4 to 12 April 2023. Participants in the exchange were young people aged 13 to 17 years accompanied by a group leader and coming from 5 different countries: Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey and Finland. Most of the participants were young people with fewer opportunities. The project aimed to raise awareness of ecology and respect for the environment, increasing the participants' awareness of waste and resource conservation. The third and final activity of the plan was the "Rural Queers" youth exchange. "Rural Queers" took place in Belorado from 15 to 23 May 2023. Participants in the project were young people aged 18 to 30 (most aged 18 to 25) with fewer opportunities from Spain, Italy, Germany, Greece and North Macedonia. The aim of the exchange was to promote active citizenship among LGBTQIA+ and allied young people, with a focus on young people from rural areas, small towns and suburbs. The three activities achieved their objectives and contributed to the goals identified in the activity plan of our Erasmus+ accreditation. In all activities, at least half of the participants (in some almost all) had fewer opportunities. In all our projects, the Inclusion and Diversity Strategy provides a framework for the inclusion of young people who may face barriers and have more difficulty participating in the programme. Special attention during this year was given to young people from rural areas and young people from the Lgbtq+ collective. In all activities, great emphasis was placed on the sustainability of the experience and the application of green practices in mobility and programme development. The "Waste to Wonder" exchange went even deeper and sought to involve, young people under the age of 18 with the aim of raising their awareness of the importance of ecology and respect for the environment, increasing their awareness of waste and resource conservation. In the three activities, digital tools and communication technologies were used in preparation, execution and evaluation. Of particular note is their increased use during the PBA and the Rural Queers exchange. During the youth worker mobility, a strategic and shared workflow was defined for the improvement of project and mobility quality by introducing a virtual space and digital cooperation tools. This allowed us to have tools and a space for cooperation and dialogue for the development and evaluation of subsequent youth exchanges and for the planning of future projects. During the Rural Queers exchange, on the other hand, participants carried out an analysis and comparison of the types of activism and use of social media in their own countries with the aim of then developing actions to disseminate the project results through the main social networks, creating inclusive and engaging content capable of generating positive and effective changes in society.
