Objectives

EXPLOSIVE HABITS project was implemented during 22/09 - 01/10/22 and gathered 32 participants from Portugal, Bulgaria, Greece and Spain. During this period, we carried out a series of activities based on reciprocal experience exchange, using non-formal learning methods. The activities took place at “Residencia de Estudiantes Aller” in Oviedo, Spain. We also did outdoor activities in places like: Naranco mountain, Pienzu Mountain, Mirador del Fitu, La Isla Beach, Guanga Waterfalls and climbing center. What we wanted to achieve with the project was to promote awareness of the importance of personal development, self-esteem, and mental and physical health, while also focusing on a variety of other skills. through group workshops, debates and presentations between others in a local and global perspective, creating an impact on the local area where the project will be implemented and in each participant’s country through dissemination. In a more detailed way, through our project we achieved the following tasks: - Raise awareness of young people about the benefits of cultivating a positive mindset, overcoming self-doubt, building resiliency, improving your interpersonal skills, building good habits, desire for self improvement, etc. - Motivating youth to build good and healthy habits, teach them how to work on those aspects and how to create good habits. - Elaboration of a series of solutions to raise public awareness of self-improvement techniques due to a stressed lifestyle, which encourages consumption and addiction and takes us away from our own understanding and desire for self-improvement. - Encourage young people to practice outdoor activities, as creating a path to self-improvement is closely related to nature and sport. - We have created and developed the capacity of young people to enjoy and practice with different educational techniques. - We developed an eco-conscious and promoting a green lifestyle. - Practical and theoretical skills about emotional intelligence were acquired. - Increase the number of volunteers in our network. - Rising the importance of YouthPass. - Accumulate more experience in international youth exchange projects and to improve our implementation strategy. - Make new connections with new partners for future projects, to increase the visibility of our organisation’s objectives. - To train volunteers in the spirit of international multiculturalism and promoting European values within the Erasmus+ program
