This proposal was born to give continuity to previous European projects recently resumed by our service. Through past youth exchanges we have observed the positive influence that this type of experience has on the young participants and their environment. Thanks to the last exchange project, the demand for this type of activity has increased considerably and through this project the promoter group intends to satisfy the concerns, demands and interests of the local community. And in this sense, we set ourselves the following objectives: - Cooperate and learn to work as a team. - Learn to tolerate and understand different opinions reaching positive agreements. - Resolve and help resolve conflicts that may arise. - Promote peer learning. - Show the cultural playful festivities offered by the Rei En Jaume festivities - Discover the realities of other equals who live in a different country. - Improve foreign language skills through practice. - Generate awareness of globalization and, in turn, of the identity traits maintained by each population. - Create vital experiences that help the personal development of the youth participating in the project. - Stimulate interest in art and their own culture and that of the visiting country. - Learn to transmit knowledge through leadership in dynamics and activities. To conclude this section we will justify the needs that this project can cover. The municipality of Calvià is located in Mallorca and the fact of living on an island makes it difficult to travel within the national and international territory. To all this we add that public transport within the island itself is insufficient and not very operational, in addition we only have the bus as the only means of transport in the municipality of Calvià, since rail transport does not cover this area of the island. The consequences of the problem with transport are diverse, such as the difficulty in getting around involving closed groups and a limited youth circle. Through this youth exchange project, we intend to expand the circle of contacts of those who participate with the aim of achieving personal growth and ensuring that our youth acquire all kinds of new skills, as well as getting to know a different area with a very antagonist.
