Objectives

This project aimed on the one hand to reflect on climate change and the role that young people have in the fight against this challenge, on the other hand to exchange knowledge on artistic, theatrical and creative techniques as tools for social change, and finally to create a space where young people could create their own narrative through artistic means on climate change and raise awareness among other people in their local community. The project was designed as a process consisting of 2 exchanges, a participatory research and a follow up activity to be carried out in the local community of each project partner. The needs and issues we have worked on are: climate change and the role of young people in the fight against this challenge. The need for diverse and inclusive spaces for exchange and participation. Greater cooperation with organisations outside the European Union. The overall objectives of the project have been: - To create new learning mobility opportunities for young people. - To promote intercultural exchange to help break down prejudices and stereotypes. - To empower and actively involve a diverse group of young people in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of a hosting and sending youth exchange. - To analyse and share the challenges and difficulties faced by young people in today's Europe in relation to climate change and sustainable development. - To create spaces for participation and exchange between young people from different cultures and realities and encourage active youth participation through creative and artistic means. - To create and carry out, jointly, actions with local impact and global effect on the problem of global warming.
