DANCE your Way UP! It has been a practical seminar that involved youth workers from different countries, with different abilities/needs and who have in common the need to be trained in inclusive creative tools that can be used in a practical and real way in the youth work they carry out in their entities, to ensure that the inclusion of young people with disabilities is a reality in each of them. We wanted to carry out this project because we share the need as youth workers and young people active in the youth field, to train ourselves to be able to create quality youth projects that are truly inclusive. With the implementation of this project we wanted to be able to value creative processes as a way of expressing our emotions, opinions and personal growth processes, which can be within the reach of any young person regardless of their abilities and therefore can be the answer so that youth workers and associations can create truly inclusive youth learning and exchange programs. Our objectives were: -Train youth workers in inclusive creative tools that can be applied in youth projects. - Promote the inclusion of young people with functional diversity in youth and mobility projects. -Promote creativity, and especially music and body expression, as a way of working on social inclusion and the development of key skills for young people with functional diversity. -Value the therapeutic power of music and creativity by developing inclusive art therapy tools. -Foster the normalization of functional diversity in young people, working on the reflective capacity and the breaking of stereotypes about people with functional diversity. -Promote the active participation of youth and their role in fighting discrimination based on any difference. - Disseminate inclusive youth work tools through platforms and networks of different entities. -Contribute to the creation of a broad, diverse and stable partnership network committed to the real inclusion of people with different abilities in the projects of the Erasmus + program.
