Objectives

This project aims to support the work we carry out on a day-to-day basis with young people, in such a way that the execution of the project means implementing this work, creating synergies between the young people themselves in all the localities where we live, as well as in the European localities with which we are going to work. The project also provides an opportunity to work in a coordinated way with other young people and to create networks that can continue to exist beyond the end of the project. For this reason, within the activities that have been proposed, one of the points that we have wanted to develop is the methodology of digital participation digital participation, which can be one of the most effective ways to continue working (and one of those that is supposed to be closer to the reality of our youth), without forgetting of course all that networking implies, in a face-to-face teamwork. We believe that this project aims to ensure that young people, through the whole process, can learn to show their points of view, opinions and needs both as individuals and in the youth organisations in which they may be immersed. In this way, pillars are created for a correct participation at the local level, acquiring strategies to be able to plan possible meetings with political leaders in their territory in order to express all of this. Likewise, the work at local level, but developed in parallel between two countries with moments of meeting, knowledge and exchange of realities, contributes to the implementation of the EU Youth Strategy 2019/2027 focused on three areas that are fully developed in this project: involving, connecting and empowering; as well as promoting cooperation between EU countries on all issues that affect young people. In this last point, it is not only carried out with and by young people, but there is also an exchange between the technicians who work with them. This strategy also focuses on "Creating opportunities for young people" and is structured in three sub-themes: 1. The future of work and quality employment 2. Access to education and youth work and the training of youth workers. 3. Opportunities for young people in rural areas. In this sense, we can see that the project we present focuses mainly on point 2 and mainly on point 3. The Youth Dialogue aims to reach out to all young people, including those who have fewer opportunities or who are not currently active and participatory. In each Member State, the organisation is in the hands of national working groups, which are responsible for consultations and activities with young people, youth organisations and policy makers within their own country. The objectives we have set ourselves in this project are the following: - Activate and provide real tools for the participation of young people at local level, creating group feeling among all project participants. - To improve the integration of young people in the dynamics of their community and to create a culture of engagement in marginalised areas but with a broader (European) vision. - To promote the youth mobility programme as a learning and exchange opportunity for young people from marginalised areas to get to know other realities and ways of working through mutual learning. - Promote digital tools and technology as an instrument to support their daily work in their activities and as an additional tool for participatory processes. - To provide young people with tools so that they can make good use of information (especially digital information) and have the ability to manage any information critically. The objectives we set out are based on the needs expressed by both young people and the technicians who work directly with them.
