The main objective of the YE "Youth Summit" is to empower young people from various European countries, to analyse the situation in each country around the topic of the 2030 Agenda. In addition, the exchange aimed to support young people in developing new personal and professional skills, including those related to active and democratic participation in the community, and civic and social competencies. Other objectives are: - Improve young people's skills (preparing a script, conducting interviews, acting on camera, etc.) and digital skills (podcast recording, elaboration of a 3D virtual platform, as well as, learning how to make a digital marketing campaign) to be the voices representing part of the European youth. - Create opportunities to meet directly with young people of the same age group interested in trying to find solutions around the issues related to the 2030 Agenda. - Develop communication channels (such as social networks and websites) to promote their content and to be able to reach out and exchange various ideas about the different issues that climate change brings to today's society. - Develop participants' sense of initiative through the creation of prototype solutions. All these objectives are aligned with those of Erasmus+, such as: - Improving the level of key skills and competencies of young people, mainly those with fewer opportunities, as well as promoting participation in democratic life in Europe and in the labour market, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity, in particular through increased mobility opportunities for learning aimed at young people. - Improve the international dimension of youth activities as well as the capacity of youth workers and youth organisations to support young people in com plementarity with the external action of the European Union, in particular through the promotion of mobility and cooperation between Programme stakeholders and partner countries and international organisations.
