The society in which we live is dynamic and that makes it change rapidly and constantly. These social changes are making young people increasingly involved in dynamics of social exclusion. In this sense, young people need to be provided with tools and strategies to be able to respond effectively to these continuous changes that are making society increasingly uncertain, multicultural and digital. We believe that these tools and strategies should be in the form of skills. Through "Move and broaden your horizons" young people will participate in a project that provides them with opportunities for lifelong learning in Spain and Europe through discovery learning. Young people will develop/acquire useful skills for their personal development. These skills are also necessary for young people to interact in a diverse society, promote intercultural understanding and improve their transition to the labor market. At the same time, young people need to feel more connected with other young people in Europe and be able to get to know other cultures and different social contexts first-hand, which makes them feel part of a global Europe and motivates them to actively participate in the community. The participants of this project are young people who present obstacles to participate in activities and projects of this type. Obstacles can be of various kinds: economic, geographical, social, health, etc. As an organization we want to contribute to providing lifelong learning experiences to the young people with fewer opportunities with whom we work. We believe that this type of experience promotes the personal and socio-educational development of the young participant in an integral way and that it helps him for his social, labor and educational insertion. All this favors the improvement of their quality of life. In addition, the impact will not only be on themselves, but will also indirectly benefit their families, peer group and community. Main goal: The main objective of “Move and broaden your horizons” is to encourage the participants to develop personal skills, attitudes and values that favor their personal and socio-educational development and serve them as tools to respond in a resilient manner to continuous social changes they face, with the goal of contributing to their social inclusion. Specific objectives: - Promote the promotion of the comprehensive development of young people through activities that address the dimensions of their lives in a holistic manner. - Promote autonomy and personal empowerment of young people. - Promote European identity, the development of European values and the citizen participation of the participants so that they contribute to building more sustainable, inclusive and fair societies. - Promote the reflection of the participants, so that they have the option of analyzing society critically and so that they confront the prejudices and stereotypes that cause discrimination. - Raise awareness of the environmental impact of many of our daily activities, while promoting responsible and sustainable attitudes that contribute to the protection of the environment. - Provide learning opportunities through discovery.
