Based on these needs, the main objectives of our project therefore were: - Promoting the social inclusion, sustainability, and digitalization of youth, especially those from Muslim and migrant communities, who face very severe barriers, through national and transnational activities. - Strengthening the capabilities of youth organizations, training them in project management, practices for the promotion of the SDGs, sustainability, and digitalization, as well as improving their networking and international cooperation capabilities, facilitating not only the exchange of good practices, but also the dissemination of results at local, regional, and European level. - Generating accessible educational materials, like guides and digital resources, which could be used by other young people involved in working for a more inclusive, green, and digital Europe, working towards the development of the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda as a way to promote positive change in the associative fabric that promotes the development of a better EU.
After the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent outbreak of the war in Ukraine, at CCIV we became aware that we had to do our bit to work for a better world and a better Europe, to change things for the better, improve our planet, and continue paving the way for young people. Thus, we approached this project from the will of youth to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs - the UN's plan to make a happier and more sustainable world by 2030), since we firmly believe in their ability to lead this positive change. We developed this Erasmus+ project after identifying (with surveys and studies) the specific needs of youth people and partners, which were mainly: strengthening key competences (of youth), transforming the entities into more digital, inclusive, cooperative, and sustainable spaces, and above all generating a positive impact on our local communities, regardless of our economic, cultural, and religious differences, to overcome economic and social uncertainty, and contribute to a better future for Europe and the world.
