Our objectives pursued with the project are the following OBJ.1: That professionals from associated organizations acquire new capabilities to promote the participation of the youth in processes linked to environmental sustainability and rural development. Results: Professionals from both entities are trained bidirectionally in key subjects, expanding the scope of their work. Two youth participation processes linked to environmental sustainability are developed, demonstrating the suitability of this type of methodologies. OBJ.2: To promote the recognition and dissemination of successful initiatives developed in the field of youth, environmental sustainability and rural development that favor entrepreneurship and youth inclusion. Results: Six organizations that develop successful practices are identified. An audiovisual product and a guide to good practices are prepared to collect these experiences, motivating the implementation of this type of initiatives. OBJ.3: To generate a network of entities that implement good practices aimed at cooperation, the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of initiatives at a national and European level. Result: Six entities that implement the project approaches and establish a collaborative net
We need to promote environmentally sustainable development models in the long term. Opportunities for emancipation and access to a decent life in the urban context are scarce for young people, especially for those who are most vulnerable. A rural environment offers alternatives for inclusion, the entrepreneurship of the youth and the improvement of consumption models. We must know and disseminate the successful practices that already exist in this regard, strengthen networking and train young professionals to promote these initiatives. The project supports overcoming environmental challenges and climate change, promoting the development of sustainable consumption attitudes and habits, and the development and commitment to better environmental practices. We seek to generate opportunities for inclusion and participation for vulnerable young people by training professionals to develop these practices. We address the following priority policies of the program: Increased innovation and recognition of work with young people. Inclusion and diversity. Environment and the fight against climate change. The topics we address are: Environment and climate change, inclusion of young people and community development.
