Our aim was to show the students how to incorporate digital skills in the social field and in learning. By networking internationally, we provided them with a safe environment to do so. Many of our students come from a lower economic background and therefore not all of them have the opportunities to experience the international environment. Pedagogic aims were intercultural education in a social field, action-based learning and digital platforms and in addition of course the exchange experience.
Our organisation provides basic education. The school provides a possibility to choose German, French or Russia as an optional subject. The establishment also has advanced digital teaching equipment such as Clever touch screens and personal Chrome books for the students in frequent use. Digital teaching methods are used daily by language teachers. This project brougt these methods even more visible and challenged the pupils to plan their own activities. We aimed to share the practicies and learn from other teachers and pupils from different countries. Improving cultural and social competences were one of our main objects. The visit to the European parliament was one of the main ways to encreace the feeling of the European citizenship.
