Our project focused on improving the foreign language teaching, inspiring the Music teaching with European influences and in finding new experimential ways of teaching and learning.
In a Finnish National school system the position of the languages other than English has deteriorated considerably in last years. Thus, we concider that encouraging of language studies is very important. A strong postition of music teaching in our school gave us a possibiity to combine Music and Foreign Languages teaching in a new creative way. We found that our project "A Polyglot school, A Polyphonic school" gave us a fertile combination of resources in which we could find new sources of inspiration. With this project we could offer new variety in teaching and new learning experiences.
