The Erasmus+ KA131 project for 2022 at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) aimed to enhance international cooperation and mobility among students and staff. The key objectives UEF wanted to achieve include the objectives aligning with the broader goals of the Erasmus+ program: Increasing the mobility of students and staff between UEF and partner institutions across Europe, and promoting cultural exchange and academic collaboration. Enhancing skills and employability: the project provided students with opportunities to gain international experience, improve their language skills, and enhance their employability through internships and exchange programs abroad. Strengthening institutional partnerships: the project helped building and strengthening strategic partnerships with other higher education institutions, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and multidisciplinary teaching and learning. Supporting blended learning: the project implemented blended intensive programs that combine physical mobility with virtual learning, making international experiences more accessible. Promoting inclusivity: ensure that mobility opportunities are inclusive and accessible to all students, including those from underrepresented groups.
