The aim of the project was to undertake European mobility of students and teaching and non-teaching staff between Haaga-Helia and its partner universities in Europe. European cooperation in education and research plays an important role in Haaga-Helia´s institutional strategy and mobility enhances delivering the strategy. We aim at educating professionals who are competent for future work: professionals who not only have strong sector specific skills but also good problem-solving and team work skills, who are able to act in new and changing situations, are curious and open minded and able to act in culturally diverse environments. Mobility gives opportunity to develop these competencies. For the staff of the university, mobility opens paths to share and broaden own expertise, to develop language and cultural skills, to network and initiate new forms for cooperation in teaching and research between Haaga-Helia and the partner university. Cooperation with other European universities is important for ensuring the quality of education and research.
