A 7 Networking & study visit, Prague 19.–20.9.2022 The first trip enabled by our accreditation was a joint networking and study visit to Prague by Sorin Sirkus and the Circus Information Centre (now the Circus and Dance Information Centre). The objectives were to network with local operators, get acquainted with new performance and training environments and local youth circus communities, and to learn and share circus and youth work methods and experiences. We particularly wanted to deepen our collaboration with Cirqueon, plan collaboration projects in more detail (e.g., CTF Advanced KA2 project and youth exchanges), get to know Cirqueon’s facilities and staff, and understand Czech realities better. A 2 Caravan W.A.Y. Meeting, Tampere 2.–4.9.2022 The objective was to strengthen the involvement of the Caravan youth group and their opportunities to influence the network's activities and decision-making, and to make their voices heard. Improving communication targeted at youth in the youth circus field was also on the agenda. The youth finally got to meet face-to-face for the first time since the group was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic. A 4 Networking, study visit, and Altra Risorsa Conference, Milano/Torino/Siena 13.–14.4.2023 The objective was to get to know the Italian youth circus scene in Milan, Turin, and Siena, share knowledge and skills mutually, and participate in a (social circus) conference on sustainable development and circus, both as speakers and participants. The background included the need to understand the Italian youth circus scene, network with operators, and engage in discussions at the European level about challenges posed by climate change to the youth circus sector and improving accessibility for all young people. A 8 Networking & new project planning, Stockholm 23.–24.3.2023 The objectives were to better understand the operations and staff of Cirkus Cirkör and the Swedish youth circus scene, and to seek new collaboration models to make youth exchanges and projects more impactful and efficient. The idea was also to map out concrete possibilities for youth exchanges. A 6 CTF 7 Module A, Tampere 12.–16.6.2023, and A19 Module C, Siena 19.–23.1.2024 CTF training is an international social circus instructor training that allows young professionals to strengthen their skills and competencies. The objectives are to broaden young professionals' understanding of different cultures and their diverse working methods, and to encourage them to share pedagogical tools and good practices with each other. The project's goal is also to strengthen participants' own identity in relation to youth work, which they are already engaged in within their own organizations. A 14 Youth Exchange Cirkus Cirkör, Stockholm 30.10.–3.11.2023 The first youth exchange together with Cirkus Cirkör. Young people aged 15–19 from Sorin Sirkus went to the Alby suburb of Stockholm to meet with young Swedes of the same age. The objective was to strengthen community and teamwork among the youth, and this was planned to be explored through various workshops, circus activities, and other shared activities. A 13 Caravan networking event and seminar, Brussels 1.–2.12.2023 The objective was to network and enhance cooperation at the large Caravan network meeting in Brussels, which also celebrated Caravan's 15th anniversary. The seminar covered topics such as youth circus pedagogy, EU funding opportunities, sharing project results from across Europe, and lectures on circus organization management, making Sorin Sirkus's presence very essential. A specific goal was to meet partners from the Balkan region and plan future collaboration – partners from Slovenia, Montenegro, and Serbia were present. The Caravan youth group W.A.Y. also held their meeting during these days. A 20 Fuskabo seminar, Ljubljana 26.–28.2.2024 The objective was to get to know the operations of our partner OE Skala and its subsidiary Circus Fuskabo and learn from them about good practices in social circus. OE Skala is a Christian youth work organization operating in multiple areas. During the trip, there was also a larger seminar on social circus, in which Sorin Sirkus was invited to participate as speakers. The goal was to better understand the partner's operations and conditions, plan joint projects, and meet partners from different countries. A 22 New project planning bootcamp, Galway 24.–26.4.2024 The goal of this trip was to draft a new project proposal based on the research results of previous projects. This "project writing camp" was prepared through online meetings over six months and two live meetings alongside other project meetings. Partners from five different youth circuses were present. A process was needed to ensure the commitment of all parties and the success of the project planning through common goals.
