The background of the project was in the young Roma people's desire to learn how to participate in the international Roma work. The target group of the project was the Finnish Roma youth (18-29 years old) and the project had three aims: 1) to raise the awareness of the Roma youth about Europeanness, 2) to support them in identifying the different opportunities for influencing, and 3) to encourage them to participate in the European cooperation.
