The main objective of the project was to facilitate the mobility of staff and students between Kajaani University of Applied Sciences (KAMK) and King’s College (KC). This initiative was a crucial step towards offering KAMK’s degree programs, such as Information and Communication Technology and International Business, at King’s College in Nepal. The aim was to bring high-quality Finnish education to Nepalese students who could not afford to study in Finland, and to expand these offerings to other South Asian countries with the help and network of KC. Additionally, the project aimed to enhance students' confidence in international exchange and foster social and professional networks through innovation co-creation projects. Other goals included developing teaching content and assessment methods, sharing expertise in multicultural learning and teaching, increasing the expertise of higher education institutions, and promoting further cooperation. KC had a strong vision to transform society through education that fosters entrepreneurship and addresses local issues. The project aimed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that promote global awareness.
