The aim was to facilitate high-quality mobility periods for students and staff through strong collaboration between Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). This partnership supports the growth of international activities within the institutions and their broader communities. In addition to mobility, the cooperation focuses on curriculum-level development, including benchmarking and sharing best practices. Haaga-Helia and GIPA’s journalism education programs complement each other by offering diverse skills and perspectives. Haaga-Helia’s pedagogical expertise is highly valued in Georgia, while Georgia’s geopolitical context enriches Finnish education with unique insights. In business administration and management, Haaga-Helia and ITS collaborate based on shared values of delivering impactful, high-quality education and maintaining strong industry ties. Haaga-Helia provides students with excellent opportunities to build global competence and language skills. A key element is the international learning environment, where local, international degree, and exchange students’ study together.
