Main goal was to facilitate internationalization for students and staff through mobilities, creating new global partnerships and deepen already existing partnerships that had focused on individual mobilities. By implementing the student mobilities in a blended mode with short intensive weeks, we wanted to provide meaningful international experiences and encounters to much more students, also through Internationalization at Home. Our aim was to strengthen our partnerships with well know and appreciated partners of Laurea, as well as to focus on creating more flexible ways for learning and getting international competences for the students and staff in Laurea and in our partner institutions. Nigeria was a new addition to our partnership portfolio, and they were selected following the national interests in Finland. With the funded mobilities we wanted to open discussions among the staff between the partner institutions, as well as facilitate the learning experiences for students in all countries, both through mobilities and online learning as well as internationalization at home for those students who might not have a chance to travel abroad during their studies. We also wanted to provide international perspective for companies.
