The aim of the 2022-2025 project was to enable the continuation of the already existing cooperation between the Sibelius Academy of University of the Arts Helsinki (SibA) and Tbilisi State Conservatoire (TSC) as well as with Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Through mobility activities, the project focused on the areas that both the programme and partner institutions have identified important in the cooperation. The main aim was to increase the quality of education and continuously develop study programs making them relevant for a changing society on an international level. In all cooperation, the underlying principle was a focus on student-centered learning and developing education according to that principle. SibA’s cooperation with TSC and UFRN supports strategic goals in internationalisation, cultural dialogue, and educational quality. With TSC, focus was on capacity building, artistic collaboration, and student progression to advanced studies. UFRN cooperation centred on social impact, global music, and pedagogical exchange. Both partnerships contributed to institutional development, outreach, and long-term academic collaboration.
