We wanted to prepare programming tasks together and collect feedback from both teachers and students. We wanted to develop teachers didactic and pedagogical skills in teaching programming and work on programming tasks suitable for middle schoolers. We also wanted to bring concreteness to the study of programming and expand STEAM education in schools. Peer learning and with the help of learning by doing together with their foreign partners, the aim was also to develop the students' social skills and language skills.
The main goals were the professional development of teachers in teaching programming and teaching programming diversification for elementary school-aged students. The purpose was to collect good practices for teaching programming. We tested the practices in teaching during the project with the students.
