The application presented by CFA Louis Prioux aimed to offer 10 one-month internships in English-speaking companies for apprentices preparing for the Professional Certificate; 5 6-day observation courses in the Hungarian partner high school for teachers, accompanied by an administrative manager. Two objectives to be achieved were specified in our application: on the one hand, developing the linguistic and transversal skills of apprentices and opening them up to mobility; on the other hand, raise our teachers’ awareness of different professional training systems and innovative teaching practices.
The learners targeted by this mobility project are apprentices aged between 18 and 30 years old and following level 4 or 5 professional training in the following fields: cooking, restaurant, pastry, commerce, bakery. Our CFA has long welcomed apprentices from other European countries, particularly with a view to encouraging mobility among national apprentices, 90% of whom come from rural areas and have no mobility experience, including at national or even regional level. In our application, teachers in the “Food professions” sections, as well as a member of the administrative staff, are also targeted.
