Our purpose in participating in this Erasmus programme is to • Develop language and professional skills: Our intention is to improve language skills, within our tertiary education. We also want to offer practical learning opportunities to students in their field of study, thus strengthening their professional skills. • Focus on openness and intercultural understanding: By participating in international projects like Erasmus, we aspire to promote diversity, openness and understanding of different European cultures. This will allow students and staff to develop important intercultural skills in an increasingly globalized world. • Foster pedagogical innovation: We want to incorporate new teaching methods and didactic discoveries through these international exchanges (the DNL teacher was able to see this during his internship) to improve the quality of our teaching and develop innovative approaches adapted to the current and future needs of our learners.
Bel Orme High School is a vocational and technological education institution, that hosts 920 learners including high school students, higher education students and participants in continuing education. Located in Bordeaux, our school benefits the "lycée des métiers" acknowledgement, and stands out for its specialization in three key areas: Chemistry, Health and Social Care and Tertiary. As part of our development approach, we have chosen to highlight a European perspective, which has led to being recognized as a reference player in this field. This European orientation is a fundamental pillar of our institutional identity. A concrete example of this commitment is our tertiary education service, where we have set up sections dedicated to European English learning. These European sections within the tertiary sector of the vocational high school embody the very essence of the programme we wish to present as part of Erasmus.
