Since 2003, the Lycée Jean Moulin has been pursuing a policy of international development in both secondary and higher education. The BTS in Tourism trains senior technicians capable of working in the sector as soon as they graduate. The practice of languages in hospitality situations is at the heart of the training, and the ERASMUS+ project is an essential tool for the acquisition of professional and linguistic skills. Partnerships are established in line with the objectives set by the new BTS standards, which propose training in blocks of skills. In our training program, the focus is on English, followed by Spanish. The target companies are hotel chains, incoming agencies and tourist sites (museums, equestrian centers, etc.). The Erasmus project is an opportunity to develop activities during workshops on the following themes: Customer groups with special needs in tourism, sustainable development by organizing educational outings, interculturality by involving language assistants, this time a Colombian and an American, as well as the director of the Maison de l'Europe based in Montpellier.
