Objectives

By implementing this project, the University of Caen Normandie wanted to provide its students and staff with an international experience that would enable them to participate in the European dynamic. The University of Caen Normandie has been involved in the Erasmus programme since it was set up in 1987. This student and teacher exchange programme is a key tool in the development of its intra-European mobility policy, which is supported by Carré International (the University of Caen Normandie's joint department responsible for implementing the institution's international strategy). Over the past 37 years, our university in Normandy has forged links with 230 European universities, forming a network of reliable partners that contribute to the institution's international reputation and openness. The Erasmus+ project is part of UNICAEN's international strategy, which defines common development areas for all of the university's teaching and research units, but also allows for specific disciplinary variations of these common areas so that the university's multi-disciplinarity remains an asset and an enriching factor for all.
