INSA Strasbourg is a public polytechnic under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. It is part of a group of 7 institutes in France and, together with its partner schools, forms the leading network of public engineering grandes écoles in France. INSA Strasbourg is home to around 2,000 students in the heart of Europe's capital. Since 2003, INSA Strasbourg has made it compulsory for all its students to spend at least three months abroad on work placements and/or study visits as part of their engineering and architecture degrees. This duration has been extended to 16 weeks. The present project is part of this policy, which is resolutely focused on the international dimension, particularly European and cross-border relations, given that requests for mobility in Europe are on the increase and are diversifying within the framework of the ECIU European Alliance, of which the INSA Group is a member. This project has provided effective support for new training mobility for staff and short-term mobility as part of the new innovative teaching formats proposed by ECIU.
