Since 2016, the framework of the UTBM “Synergy” project has been strengthening international relations and the internationalization of our institution. An Internationalization Council, which meets twice a year to support this program prioritizes: • Preparing students for international careers by supporting the internationalization of the institution and providing an international experience of at least 18 weeks. Particular attention is given to the quality of incoming and outgoing mobilities, the coherence and complementarity of Learning Agreements with curricula, and the implementation of the inclusion policy. • Strengthening partnerships by implementing joint research activities whenever possible. This also involves more intensive participation in events (exhibitions, conferences, visits, receptions…) to build strong ties with our partners, notably by involving them in the institution’s key events. • Improving the internationalization of the institution by continuing our incentive policy for staff mobility and further implementing EWP.
