In 2021, the Lapérouse high school signed the Erasmus Charter for higher education as part of the new Erasmus Plus program. The school makes international development a priority. These teams are committed to a strategy of international opening, initially with the Pacific zone and since 2014 with Europe. As part of their training, BTS Ci and SAM students must complete an internship abroad. This takes place at the end of the first year, over a period of eight weeks. It is, without a doubt, an opportunity to learn more in situ and to use the student's skills in their preferred fields (commerce, management, prospecting, negotiation, etc.). But of course, it also gives pride of place to modern foreign languages which will be understood, used and experienced in the reality of an authentic cultural framework. Although our section is already opening to the Pacific zone, the need for rapprochement with Europe is obvious. Thus the Erasmus internship crystallizes all of our efforts: it gives students the opportunity to fully experience the language in European times and to share enriching experiences.
