Objectives

Located in the Grand-Est region of France, URCA is a multi-site, multi-disciplinary university with 28,000 students, including around 3,000 foreign nationals. URCA offers over 150 degrees in 4 main study fields, and has 335 ERASMUS + agreements with 182 partners in 25 European countries. URCA is developing an ambitious internationalization policy to give all its students an international outlook and attract high-quality international students. Having been awarded the Bienvenue en France (2*) label and participating in the Erasmus Mundus BIOCEB Master's program, URCA now has crucial toos in the development of its attractiveness policy, and the impetus to expand its range of courses in English. Since 2023, URCA has been a member of the European INVEST alliance, whose areas of expertise are consistent with URCA's strategic project to create an international institute for bioeconomy and the environment (Exebio). To develop the international openness of the university community, language and intercultural training for students and staff has been expanded, and URCA now has the “Altissia” evaluation and training platform (based on the OLS model).
