Objectives

Internationalization is key to our strategic development, particularly being a founding and acting member of the UNITA Alliance. USMB stands as a university on a human scale, close to our local environment and open to Europe and the rest of the world. Since 2008, USMB has ranked first in terms of the number of enrolled students going abroad (around 4% each year). We have a solid network of partners in some sixty different countries and make the most of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme to develop our internationalization strategy. The managing team of the university is convinced that skills acquired abroad are indispensable to training young European citizens in an ever-globalized world. Thus, we dedicate important means to both student and staff mobility. This internationalization strategy is an asset to our reputation as a place where students can easily spend part of their curriculum abroad. It is worth capitalizing on these outstanding results to keep attracting prospective students and enhance their potential.
