As part of the establishment project (axis 1 European and international mobility), the high school strives to establish partnerships with foreign hotel and catering professionals with the aim of allowing students to carry out their internship in a company. Before mobility, language proficiency remains a priority so that a student in contact with foreign customers is able to meet the needs of these same foreign customers and those of the company. The language assistants present in the school have set up concrete situations and allow indisputable progress in terms of oral expression. The courses co-facilitated between the English and/or Spanish teacher and the accommodation and restaurant teacher pursued the same objective of improving language skills in a professional context. Over the two years, from April to July 2023 and 2024, only 10 students from the Guillaume Tirel high school (75014 Paris), in the first year of BTS, went to Italy, Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Sweden. This internship allowed them to acquire autonomy and responsibility, to make linguistic progress and to discover another culture.
