L'Horizon, a training centre approved by the French Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ile de France Regional Council, prepares students and apprentices for the level 6 Diplôme d'État d'Éducateur de Jeunes Enfants (DEEJE), which is backed up by a degree in education sciences, in partnership with the University of Paris Nanterre. Our Erasmus+ strategy focuses on the mobility of individuals in Europe to encourage encounters and dialogue between European cultures and players in education and social work. This aims to develop and deepen partnerships with host establishments for practical training, and with higher education establishments, enabling L'Horizon to engage with the diversity of pedagogies, approaches and practices. Two partnerships with higher education establishments in Europe and Quebec-Canada have been in development for several years, and we benefit from a real network for student placements. We now want to develop a BIP to strengthen the skills of trainers and learners, facilitate short mobility with distance learning, and promote horizontal priorities.
