The institution and the teams involved in this project first wanted to contribute to the creation of a European mobility program for our higher education students. Secondly, our objective was to improve the quality and strengthen the European dimension of higher education. In addition, the mobility of staff seemed to me to be another priority. The implementation of this first project was intended to enable the development of language skills, the discovery of a European area, the acquisition of new professional skills (technical, digital, IT, relational) during internships in companies, and the sharing of knowledge. Before the programme, student mobility was anecdotal, hampered by the high cost of mobility and family considerations. Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, applicants to the programme have increased by a factor of 4. In addition, the Erasmus+ programme offers families a safe and reassuring framework for their child's mobility: financial assistance, inclusion, support and follow-up by a referent, validation of specific language and professional skills that are recognised and valued.
