Objectives

The Erasmus+ 2022 agreement has enabled Villa Arson students and staff to go abroad during the 2023/2024 academic year. The Erasmus+ 2021/27 program has extended the range of mobility opportunities to partner countries outside Europe. International mobility is an essential part of the curriculum for art students at Villa Arson. By facilitating a change of scenery and the discovery of other educational and cultural contexts, it enables students to acquire new skills, build their own references and become part of professional networks beyond the perimeter of the art school. All students are strongly encouraged to undertake at least one semester of study or an internship abroad as part of their curriculum, particularly during the 1st year of the Master of Art program. Since the start of the 2023/24 academic year, 2nd year students have been encouraged to undertake international internships of up to 3 months. The aim is to gradually bring all students to have an international experience during their training. Participation in the Erasmus+ program is a key element of Villa Arson's international development strategy.
