The Key Action 131 2022 project of Université Côte d'Azur (UniCA) was designed to enhance its attractiveness and international influence, by promoting individual mobility as a key lever for its internationalization. Managed by the Department of International Development and Europe (DDIE), the project aimed to carry out 4 types of mobility: study, internship, training and teaching, and to maximize the use of the allocated budget. This year's innovations included the allocation of 20% of the budget to mobility to non-European destinations, the introduction of new forms of mobility (hybrid, short-term, intensive hybrid program) and the Urgence Ukraine scheme. By the end of the project, 598 mobilities had been carried out, including 525 student mobilities and 73 staff mobilities. Although this result demonstrates financial success, with 80% of the total budget used up, it still falls short of the target of 1006 mobilities. With budget consumption already in excess of 80%, reconciling the planned number of mobilities with full budget utilization was a challenge, in part due to the choice of awarding the highest rate of grant proposed by region.
