The objective of this project was to allow our BTS students to carry out one of the internships planned in their training, in a European company. In an increasingly international industrial context, we wanted to open our BTS to Europe. For this we have set up a partnership with ITS Mecatronica in Lombardy. A delegation of teachers from our high school spent a week at ITS in Milan and we welcomed Italian teachers in return. Then, we organized in 2023, a Franco-Italian exchange of the 1st year class of French BTS and Italian ITS. Our students therefore went to Milan for a week for a maintenance project with their Italian classmates in a Milanese company. And in return the two classes carried out a project in a French company partner of our high school. The outcome of these activities was therefore for two of our students to carry out their internship in a Milanese company, and we allowed three Italian students to do their internship in France. You wanted to make our students aware of their European belonging (which they were able to express during an assessment) and the importance of practicing a foreign language.
