The main aim of our project is to enable students in the BTS Computer Services for Organisations (the school's only higher education section) to increase their academic and professional opportunities through work placements in Europe. Geographical isolation, economic difficulties and cultural barriers are all obstacles to the academic and professional success of our students. Saint-Joseph is an ultra-peripheral commune, geographically the southernmost in the Union. Unemployment is high and the economic fabric is mainly based on rural activities. This means that the school's students have fewer opportunities and find it difficult to integrate into economic life.
