French law No. 2014-1170 of October 13, 2014 on the future of agriculture, food and forestry specifies that the EPLEFPA "participate, in conjunction with professionals in the sectors concerned, in policies of education, research, scientific, technological development and innovation, food safety, health safety and public health, agricultural development, sustainable development, promotion of agroecology, including organic farming, and territorial cohesion, at national, European and international levels." Participation in international cooperation actions, exchanges and international projects constitutes the 5th mission of the EPLEFPA, enacted by article L811-1 of the Rural Code. Coming out of a period of health crisis that destroyed almost all links, work habits, capacities and confidence in travel, the establishment's KA131 2022 project aimed to recreate the opportunity and financial condition of exchanges to invite learners and teams (pedagogical and administrative) to reconsider/return more serenely to international travel.
