Objectives

The internationalization of education is at the heart of Sorbonne University's (SU) international strategy. To achieve this, SU is building long-term, structured partnerships to address today's major scientific and societal challenges. In addition, SU is committed to supporting the development of French-speaking universities and strengthening privileged partnerships. In line with its international policy, this KA 171 project announced several objectives: - To support the development of the double Master's degree in soil sciences, MIS-Sol, in partnership with the universities of Antananarivo (UA) Madagascar and Nangui Abrogoua (UNA) Ivoiry Coast. The complementary nature of the curricula provided a framework conducive to diversifying the partners' training offerings, transferring skills in sustainable soil management, and opening up training to international opportunities. - Develop training through research in geoscience with Egerton University (EU) in Kenya to increase student employability and technical training for staff. - Expand teaching and training mobility opportunities for staff, promote educational innovation, and exchange best practices.
