As part of its international development strategy, Arts et Métiers is strengthening its ties with Morocco and Tunisia, countries with which it shares historical, geographical and cultural proximity. The aim is to develop innovation and training ecosystems in partnership with four local universities, in line with regional industrial needs. The actions undertaken include education, technology transfer and valorization; the creation and support of scientific and technological platforms; and the professionalization of engineers through in-company mentoring. In terms of training, the partnerships provide for student exchanges as part of dual degree courses, as well as a compulsory 6-month internship in the host country, encouraging innovation and industrial collaboration in an intercultural context. The aim of these mobilities is to enhance students' skills in mechanical, electromechanical, industrial and civil engineering, while creating lasting professional networks between the two shores of the Mediterranean. Grants have been requested to support these mobilities over the period 2022-2025.
