Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, founded in 1257, is one of Europe’s oldest and a leading institution in humanities and social sciences, with over 45,000 students. Committed to academic excellence and international outreach, it has made global engagement a strategic priority. As part of this, the university joined the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program, partnering with six institutions across four countries. The goal is to expand student mobility, offering intercultural learning experiences that enhance skills and employability. Agreements were designed to include as many academic disciplines as possible, ensuring broad access. The International Relations Office oversees these efforts, supported by a network of faculty coordinators. Incoming students receive comprehensive support: online course listings, pre-arrival information, orientation events, French language classes, and integration activities. All partner institutions implemented similar initiatives to promote and support mobility.
