The University Paris XIII, usually known as the University of Sorbonne Paris Nord (USPN), has made the internationalisation of its courses a major challenge for its development. Priority is given to actions that strengthen its attractiveness and international influence. We have a large number of training/research collaborations, and our international development strategy is largely based on those that combine cutting-edge research and/or excellent training. European funding is helping to structure and strengthen these activities to a high standard. The project, which involved 2 Ukrainian establishments, focused on bringing together teaching teams through exchanges of teachers and the hosting of students. The medium-term objective was to set up double degrees in Computer Science at engineering level with Sup Galilée, (a USPN engineering school with solid experience in running this kind of programme). Unfortunately, implementing this project has been extremely disrupted by the war in Ukraine, which began in February 2022.
