Objectives

Sciences Po has a proactive international policy, of which the Erasmus+ programme is one of the main pillars. With 50% of its student body of non-French nationality, student mobility (incoming and outgoing) is at the heart of this strategy. The Erasmus+ programme embodies our commitment to international mobility and diversity, enabling us to support the mobility of our students who are doing the 3rd year of their Bachelor course outside Europe, and to welcome participants for whom European mobility would not have been possible without Erasmus funding. In this way, the international component of the project promotes equal treatment of our candidates for departure to expensive destinations and is, above all, a tool for attracting incoming mobile students to France. Our aim has been to award the Erasmus+ grant on the basis of academic excellence and social criteria, by distributing supplements based on the European Commission's criteria to a wide range of students from overseas development assistance countries. This is to strengthen the influence of Sciences Po and Europe among our international partners.
