With international cooperation at the heart of CIHEAM-IAMM's mission, this project aimed to develop student, teacher and training mobility with three partner institutions of excellence (Cairo University in Egypt, Lebanese University in Lebanon, IAV Hassan II in Morocco). The objective was to pursue our mandate to ‘train agricultural executives in Mediterranean countries’ by welcoming students into our accredited Master's 2 programmes, organising shared teacher mobility and offering specialised training to staff (educational engineering, document management, IT, setting up European projects). The project aimed to strengthen existing historical collaborations, promote the mixing of cultures and experiences in a spirit of equality, contribute to the training of future regional decision-makers, and develop new research and cooperation projects. This approach aimed for academic excellence in a context of international openness, enabling participants to acquire skills to design sustainable and resilient agricultural systems in the face of Mediterranean climate and food challenges.
