This project aimed at strenghening the cooperation with 4 countries in the Mediterranean region (Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia) through the promotion of the French language, the internationalisation of training programs and capacity building for partner HEIs. Mobility periods aimed at supporting the strengthening of their academic and scientific capacities and the specialization of students in key fields, in order to meet regional expectations and current development challenges. For Nantes Université, this project was embedded in a strategy to develop sustainable french-speaking partnerships in this region in key disciplines (e.g., sustainable development) or topics (entrepreneurship, digital education, internationalisation of training programs) and to gradually involve some of them in current structural projects such as: - the new Graduate Schools, which aim to establish innovative, integrated, and internationalized curricula as part of the TRITON project (https://www.univ-nantes.fr/decouvrirluniversite/vision-strategie-et-grands-projets/graduate-schools). -the I-Site NeXt, to promote academic and scientific cooperation around two areas of excellence: industry and healthcare of the future.
