The University of Poitiers (UP) has a long tradition of international openness, and its internationalization strategy is based in part on Erasmus+ projects supported by external policy funds. This project was submitted with one main objective: to deepen the already fruitful collaborations between UP and its partners and consolidate their impact in the medium term by helping beneficiaries to better integrate the concept of internationalization and the European values of the Erasmus+ program. The existing partnerships were strengthened mainly by exploring and then developing new exchanges between faculties for the creation of double degrees, the development of new study programs or internships for students, the development of the French-speaking world, and collaboration in research. We have developed the research component in the fields of health, environment, and artificial intelligence by welcoming researchers and doctoral students to our laboratories. At the request of our partners, we have also reinforced the exchange of administrative and pedagogical practices and capacity building around the management of the Erasmus+ program.
