Objectives

Paris-Est Créteil Val de Marne University is the largest multidisciplinary and professionally-oriented university in Île-de-France region. With 14 faculties, schools and institutes, 1 observatory and 32 research laboratories, UPEC trains more than 43,000 students each year, 12% of whom are international students. UPEC relies notably on the Erasmus+ program to foster its European partnerships, develop new projects and encourage staff mobility. The first MIC projects with Ukraine and Serbia were implemented in 2015; we have increased and diversified the number of partners and have involved several faculties in this initiative. Within the framework of the 2022-2025 project, we collaborated with 6 countries and 7 partners. The objective of this agreement was to diversify strategic development areas, building on our expertise with historical partners (Georgia, India, Argentina, Tunisia). In a dynamic of developing staff mobility, we wanted to involve as many faculties and administrative staff as possible. The cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Georgia has allowed us to consolidate our practices in developing European projects.
