Through the implementation of this mobility project involving partners located in Japan (Asia), Chile (Latin America), and Israel (Southern Mediterranean), École Polytechnique (l’X) pursued three strategic objectives aligned with its 2022–2027 internationalization plan: 1. Strengthen the internationalization of education and research by promoting student and faculty mobility, enriching academic pathways, and intensifying scientific collaborations in key fields (mathematics, physics, engineering, environment). 2. Attract a diverse range of international talent by facilitating exchanges with geographically and culturally varied regions, and by removing economic or logistical barriers, particularly for Latin American candidates. 3. Consolidate and balance existing bilateral partnerships with long-standing partner institutions in the three regions. Finally, by participating in Erasmus+, École Polytechnique aimed to strengthen its financial capacity to support more mobility opportunities. The program also serves as a structuring tool to sustain exchanges within a European institutional framework.
