This project involved one cambiodian institution, the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC, an engineering school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia), and a consortium of four French institutions (the universities of Toulouse, Rennes, and Sorbonne Paris Nord - UT, UR, USPN - and the INSA Rennes engineering school - InsaR). It focuses on materials and the ITC's Master's degree in Materials and Structures (MS), which has been a joint degree program with InsaR for many years. The ITC is organized into faculties, divided into teaching departments. Three departments are involved: Mechanical Engineering (GIM), Geological Engineering (GGG), and Civil Engineering (GCI). The objectives, according to the initial project, were: A. To strengthen the MS Master's degree: support for the joint degree, educational enhancement projects, and links with the GGG and GIM departments; B. To create an organic link between the Master's program and the ITC's Materials Research Unit: introducing new traversal courses in the MS Master's program related to research themes; C. To develop synergies between the consortium members and the Cambodian partner, both at the pedagogical (support for new options or courses) and at the research levels.
